PTSD / Trauma Treatment
Living through trauma is one of the most challenging human experiences. When we experience trauma, it significantly impacts our relationships, ability in processing emotions, work / school life, spirituality, and motivation to live and find purpose in the aftermath. Trauma and stressful situations in life may have you feeling stuck, unworthy, and hopeless. You may be feeling alone, and as if no one truly understands you. I am here and can offer you hope, compassion, and non-judgment. By being vulnerable, you can regain freedom and choice. You will then be able to start living the life you have imagined for yourself and your family.
In over twelve years of experience, I have developed specialties in working with individuals with issues such as trauma / PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic / dating violence, self-harm / suicidal ideation, Bipolar Disorders, depression, anxiety, unhealthy relationships, and grief. I primarily use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. A wise man once said, "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do". Let me aide you on this healing journey. I provide services with a style of vulnerability, genuineness, and non-judgment. Let me meet you where you are. It would be an honor to help you reach your goals for yourself and your family.
Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy
I assistance clients, couples, and families in developing creative solutions to life's challenges and obstacles. I have been honored to work with clients for over six years in dissolving barriers and overcoming difficulties to develop fulfilled successful lives. I utilize a personalized, caring, and non-judgmental, thoughts / feelings / actions approach to create a supportive, empowering environment that optimizes my client's potential to reach their overall goals.
My approach is highly collaborative, focused, and provides the client with tools they can utilize for a lifetime. I am passionate about coaching clients to find freedom from their struggles, enhance their relationships, and develop purpose. Clients comment that they find this approach highly effective.
I hold two master's degrees—one in Mental Health Counseling and the other in Psychology. Additionally, I have specialized training in online therapy, as I primarily work virtually.
